Asher is sick today. He has a runny nose and he is pretty congested. Fortunately for me though he isn't being real fussy so I'm getting off the hook on this one. Although he hasn't slept much today so I can't get a lot of anything done. I gave him some Tylenol at 2:00 pm and so far this is the most he's slept all day. I'm crossing my fingers on this one.
Tomorrow I will officially be down a total of 30+ lbs since I started this weight loss kick. I'm a bit off of the pace from the first two months but I figured I would be slowing down a little bit once my body started to use the calories correctly and not storing them all as fat. I'm wearing clothes now that I haven't fit into since before Carrie and I got married almost 5 years ago. I also bought a new winter coat (which if I do say makes me look pretty fly) and it was a medium and it fit fine with even a bit of room. Suffice it to say I'm feeling a lot better about myself.
So I haven't really blogged a whole lot since I was at my brother's wedding and I definitely didn't put up any pictures from the wedding so dig these if you will!
The wedding was pretty cool. I did a reading in the wedding from something that Jesse and his wife picked and it went well. Of course there was some un-needed drama but what family doesn't have un-needed drama every once in awhile. Here are some more pictures of the from the big day.
The reception was very nice as well. I had a lot of fun with my family and here are the pictures to prove it.
It was a good time had by all and we are headed back down to KC this coming weekend for Thanksgiving with the family down there. While I'm looking forward to my mom's cooking I'm not looking forward to the drive and to the money spent on gas and what not.
