Barack Obama called my son fat!

Well he didn't actually call him fat, he said, and I'm paraphrasing here cause I wasn't there, but it went something like this. "I think this guys under fed, you should feed him some more."

This was said to Carrie yesterday as Barack made a campaign stop at Overman Park here in CF. Of course his mic was off at this point in time and nobody seemed to get a picture of Barack and Ash but that's the story. Aunt Cindi was there to back Carrie up on this one.

Now before any one takes this the wrong way the comment was in jest, so please no CNN or Fox News people calling me for a statement. It was a joke, the same one everyone makes about our little guy Ash. He's a big kid ya know!

Carrie and I are still undecided on who we are supporting for President, but Carrie said Barack was really good to listen to and was very good on his feet. He also said something yesterday that I had never thought about. A question from the audience was of the nature "nothing ever happens in Washington and everything just stays the same" which Barack replied, "if that was the case a black man couldn't be running for President." I think the is one of the coolest things I've ever heard a politician say and I wish I could have been there to ask a question or two myself.

Any who, you really want to read about Asher any way don't you. Well yesterday Asher started pulling himself up on select items. Once he gets up he has no idea how to get down but he is making more progress. Not bad for 6 1/2 months eh?

I added a couple of things to my blog here, on the right you will notice a link to my Amazon.com wish list. My buddy Chuck Hoffman added one to his page and I thought that was a cool idea. Also I added a pole that is down on the lower right. I will be updating it once a month so check it out and vote. Lastly if you look all the way down at the bottom of the page I also added a store were you can purchase my music for .99 cents a song. Most people won't do this and I'm cool with that but if someone comes around digs the thirty second clip and wants the song, bang there you go it's all yours. I sell only very high quality mp3s do don't worry about sound quality, I rip them directly from the wav files of the studio mix and them rip them with the lowest amount of compression from wav to mp3. The files a little larger than most mp3s but you'll hear the difference!
